Radiohead: Bloom (Jamie xx, Anstam, SBTRKT) 12"
The most anticipated volume of the Radiohead remixes, the seventh single in the series features two of the biggest names (currently) in Labhead land. SBTRKT steals the show here with a future beats version of "Lotus Flower." Love those tricked out drums! Jamie XX goes for the higher state of consciousness with an understated, ethereal mix of "Bloom" that omits kicks and snares. Anstam's version of "Separator" rounds out the set with shuffling drums and a movement towards darkness. Limited as usual, don't sleep. Recommended.
