L'Indécis: Second Wind Vinyl (Colored Vinyl) LP

L'Indécis: Second Wind Vinyl (Colored Vinyl) LP

L’Indécis is one of a new breed of internet-savvy musicians and producers, making music that on first listen may hardly be noticable at all, but quickly climbs to the top of the algorithmically generated heap. On his second LP appropriately titled Second Wind, L’Indécis is a bit more forthcoming with his sources and collaborators, this time enlisting fellow Chillhop associates Sad Toï, Blue Wednesday, Moods, and Alex Akrich. These collaborations lead to a diversified sound that includes elements of nu-jazz, hip hop, and soul music. Title track “Second Wind” is airily strummed guitar, resonant snares, and wonky keyboard flourishes. “From The Top” makes tasteful use of mixing board effects, textural vocal samples, and peak hour filters. “Sideways” begins with a muted funk bassline and gentle piano chords, guitar noodling and clicking percussion round out the vibe. This album is packaged in a gatefold sleeve with printed insert featuring artwork by Daniel Stankler, and is pressed on white colored vinyl
