First released in 1990, Key Tronics Ensemble's "House of Calypso" is back on vinyl for the first time in 10 years. The lush, keys-galore track was the debut release from Ricky Montanari, the Italian DJ/producer who's also put out material under Poptik, Omniverse, Dreams Unlimited, and other monikers, and this reissue includes 3 iterations of the timeless classic: the remix, which is characterized by the Italo-esque fee as well as the brilliant solo work, and the Softhouse version that takes leaves a little more room in the drums and other layers. The Paradise version might be the standout, however, complete with chill, Balearic vibes all around. Don't miss out on this one, a must-have for your collection if you're in to vintage dance music.
