Jack White's third solo LP, and the first new body of work in almost 4 years! On Boarding House Reach, White explores familiar and new sounds, from good ol' rock 'n' roll and electro to hard punk, proto punk, hip-hop, gospel blues, and even country. The songs were conceived while the White Stripes member was "holed up in a spartan apartment with no outside distractions," and he recorded his ideas on the same gear he used when he was 15-years old. White fleshed out the project w/ the help of an impressive line-up of musicians, enlisting synth players, keyboardists, drummers, percussionists, and vocalists of top caliber to execute the album's expansive and bold sound. Check out the pulsating single/opener "Connected By Love," or rhythmic prowess of "Respect Commander." "Corporation" is groove-driven, playful rocker, and "Over and Over" is a ferocious number characterized by a tough drum beat and raw guitar riffs.
