HNNY: Carefree Vinyl 12"
HNNY straight coasting on this one. The Swedish producer has been making waves with his R&B remixes (you know those kiss-stamped 12"s) for a minute now, but switches gears on Carefree. Bright and breezy balearic house is the vibe du jour with ample helping of laid back grooves for your most chill dance affairs. The opener "Happy Happy Happy House" sets the tone, a chilled breakbeat affair that sounds like the backing to an unused PM Dawn jam. Next up, "Brasilian Sound" picks up the pace while keeping the vibe intact, till "Fresh Laundry" comes in and brings you up with those delightful keys. Also includes "Frukstund" and the playful "Yogalates." Nice to hear such quality sounds from a producer obviously that isn't taking himself too seriously.
