Big Crown bringing together BK funk mainstays El Michels Affair with young up and coming NYC band The Shacks (aka Max Shrager and vocalist Shannon Wise) on 45 for "Strange Boy." It's a beautiful track fully dipped in that lo-fi rock and soul aesthetic, topped with an extra helping of sexiness courtesy of vocalist Shannon Wise doing a killer Jane Birkin style delivery. Amazingly, the song was done in one take, which also happened to be Wise's first time ever recording (at the age of 16!). Peep they stylee video below, and also check the hazy cinematic soul of "No Surprise" on the flip. Pic sleeve, recommendo.
