The Canadian electro-funk ambassadors are back with their 5th album, Head Over Heels, and this time around, Dave 1 and P-Thugg invite their popular friends, old and new, to the party: The-Dream, French Montana, Stefflon Don, DRAM, Amber Mark, Raphael Saadiq, Rodney Jerkins, and Pino Palladino to name a few. Recorded in the duo's newly minted Burbank studio, the vibe remains upbeat and groovy, with D and P pulling back on the energetic, club-minded production for a sexier, more lowkey brand of retro dance. The slithering '80s R&B influence is completed by Dave's signature crooning and P-Thugg's vocoder work, and the well curated guestlist pushes along Chromeo's retro-futuristic-feel-good agenda.
