A gift from the mind of Eno. As most of you already know, the visionary UK musician's career runs deep. From his beginnings with Roxy Music in the early 70's, to pioneering ambient music, and handling production duties for the likes of David Bowie, Talking Heads, U2, and many others, you can say Brian Eno's list of musical accomplishments is quite substantial. His visual experiments however, are a bit lesser known, despite being exhibited around the globe. On Music For Installations, Eno drops a tremendous amount of material from these visual works, most of which has never been available before on any format. This limited edition box set contains nine full LP's worth of music collected from Eno's installations circa 1986 to the present, pressed on vinyl for the first time ever. This treasure trove of music is paired with a 64 page soft cover book containing a new essay from Eno, plus rare and previously unseen photographs from his various exhibits from 1997 to now. Each album is housed in a beautiful die-cut sleeve designed by longtime collaborator Nick Robertson, and is packaged in a rigid 12"x12" box. Comes complete with digital download of two bonus tracks download voucher which includes files as *.wav - format plus two bonus tracks. A must for Eno completists. Recommended.
